Langston University was picked 18th and Xavier University of Louisiana was 21st in the NAIA Division I Women's Basketball Coaches' Preseason Top 25 poll announced Tuesday. naia logoThe Lady Lions, last year's Red River Conference Tournament Champion, finished the 2014-15 season with a 29-4 record and garnered 114 points in the poll, The Gold Nuggets, 18-15 in 2014-15 and Gulf Coast Athletic Conference 2015 preseason #1 pick, are in the NAIA preseason top 25 for the sixth consecutive season.
